Internet Explorer (IE) has a new security feature, called Active X control blocking, to keep Active X controls, such as Java, up-to-date.
This feature will prevent the app or web page from loading, if it finds that Java is out-of-date and will provide the option to update Java.
When the Active X control blocks an older Java version, you'll see: It is recommended you update Java before allowing the app to run. If you don't trust the site or prompt, you can visit the web site to get the latest version.
The out-of-date Active X control blocking applies to: In some instances, after installing Java 7 using Internet Explorer, Java apps do not function.
You may see a message from IE stating The page you are viewing uses Java.

If I browse manually to the webpage, I see the new updated webpage, but in Xibo there is no refresh of the webpage. If I stop and start the web server, and stop and start the client, most of the time it is updated, but I thought Xibo is always showing the latest webpage, and not a cached one. It was configured for automatically (which is good for normal usage of the browser), but after changing it to always, it is now updating directly.
The embedded webpage which will display rain radar is always the latest. As always, after you solved the problem, you think, hmmm, it was that easy....
